Cineplex offering $5 admission and popcorn later this month

Cineplex is offering a pretty good discount on tickets and snacks later this month.
On Tuesday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 29, both general admission tickets and small popcorn will be $5 each. It should be noted that the $1.50 online booking fee ($1 with Scene+, waived with CineClub or in-theatre purchases) still applies.
Cineplex has occasionally offered this Tuesday promo in the past. You can also pay a surcharge to see movies in premium formats like UltraAVX at a discounted rate. On top of that, Scene+ members will also continue to get an additional 10 percent off any Tuesday admission.
The promotion comes as there are several popular movies worth checking out. For one, there’s the smash hit A Minecraft Movie if you haven’t taken your younger family member yet. On top of that, you can watch acclaimed adult-oriented titles like Sinners (the latest movie from Black Panther director Ryan Coogler that’s releasing on April 18), Drop (a technothriller starring The White Lotus‘ Meghann Fahy) and the ultra-realistic military movie Warfare (co-directed by Civil War‘s Alex Garland).
Sadly, the promo isn’t valid on non-feature film or “Cineplex Event” screenings, such as the ongoing “Room to Dream: A David Lynch Retrospective” series featuring re-runs of the late, great Mulholland Drive filmmaker’s work.
You can browse everything that’s playing on Cineplex’s website.
